Our 20 Yard offers the most versatility out of all our dumpsters because they have the most space AND they are only $50 more than our next size down. Like the rest of our dumpsters, this size of can features double barn doors on the back. This allows you to carry very heavy things in without having to worry about throwing it over the walls of the dumpster. The walls are 6ft tall, not too tall to throw lighter material over.

How much stuff can I put in there? That is a question I get asked during EVERY phone call I receive. What it boils down to, is how good are you at Tetris? I’m not kidding either, I’ve showed up to deliver a dumpster where the customer has already piled everything to go in and I thought to myself “There is no way that is all going to fit”. So I lightly mention to the customer “Hey just an FYI I do offer dump and returns so when you fill this thing, give me a call and I can empty it and bring it back for the remainder of the rental.” They just laugh and say, “No need.” When I show up to get the dumpster at the end of the rental, low and behold it’s ALL in there. When I emptied the can, the trash pile stayed in the shape of the dumpster as it fell out because everything was so tightly crammed and intertwined in there. After this interaction, the question I always rebuttal with, is can you fit it all?
A full dumpster can be satisfying, but may also cause some concerns to arise. How heavy is that thing? When you are throwing away a few pieces of trash at a time, you don’t give much thought to the final weight, but it does add up! All my dumpster rentals come standard with me covering the FIRST two tons of dump fees, anything more than that is charged at $45 per ton. While it is not the case for everyone, on average, those who use a bin for household/garage trash end up with a dumpster that weighs around 1.5 tons. In that case, you don’t have anything to worry about, BUT construction material is a different story. A 20 Yard full of sheetrock, plywood, or boards can average out to about 2.5-3 tons. In this case there will be an additional charge to the card that is kept on file for things like this.
